Dr. Krishna R. Salin, Ph.D., is a Professor of Aquaculture at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. With nearly three decades of experience in research, education, industry engagement, and capacity development, he advances sustainable and climate-smart aquaculture systems that contribute to food security, environmental sustainability, and inclusive economic growth. He is a former President of the World Aquaculture Society–Asian Pacific Chapter and has led international research and development initiatives across Asia, Africa, Europe, and Australia.

Dr. Azad Ismail Saheb is a Research Scientist and Principal Investigator with over 40 years of experience in aquaculture research, specializing in fish breeding, nutrition, health management, and molecular diagnostics. He has led 35 projects, holds 2 patents, and has 150 publications. He holds BFSc, MFSc, PhD, and FISBT qualifications and has received several national and international awards. 

Dr. Sherain Al-Subiai is a Research Scientist at Aquaculture Program/KISR. She obtained her BSc in Biochemistry from Kuwait University and MRes and PhD in Aquatic Toxicology from University of Plymouth, UK. She has led and participated in numerous research projects aimed at developing innovative and sustainable shrimp aquaculture technologies in Kuwait desert. Dr. Al-Subiai is currently leading the Technical Committee for Aquatic Middle East Network (AQMENET) under World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH). 

Dr. Zonno is a biologist with nearly 40 years of experience in fish physiology, aquaculture research and technology development. His expertise includes fish sperm cryopreservation, aquaculture effluent treatment and sustainable aquaculture systems, particularly RAS. He has coordinated and contributed to several EU-funded projects, co-founded TECNOSEA Srl, and currently coordinates the BIORAS_SHRIMP project. With over 35 peer-reviewed publications, he presently serves as Executive Director of the Marine Aquaculture and Fisheries Research Centre at Acquatina and Head of the Coordination Area for Laboratories and Technical Services at the University of Salento, Italy.
